Highly recommend going here if you love dark/gross history! Different to other museums i’ve been, very immersive and interactive. Great atmosphere, loads to see/do. Learnt loads and had loads of fun! Staff very friendly and helpful too. Can’t fault the place.
We decided to have a look around this attraction as it seemed interesting and fun.
At the time there were only about 4/5 other people going round, so it was nice and quiet.
We enjoy a bit of tongue and cheek humour, but other adults may find this childish.
There are many interactive props to look at but there is a lot of reading involved.
I can imagine if it gets busy it would get uncomfortable reading so much in certain places.
I did get a bit bored after a while with so much information.
I don't think it's suitable for anyone under 10 due to how much reading there is. I think they would get bored easily.
We went on a cold day and with it being a church it was really cold in there.
We are glad we went but wouldn't go again
Fantastic attraction .. very well thought out and lots of interesting and interactive sections .. the man who was on the front desk was super enthusiastic and informative even before we went in… highly recommended 🥰
Some good fun, loads of information, we really enjoyed it! Definitely worth a stop off for the price of the ticket, £7 for an adult.
After reading reviews I had really high expectations but was left a little disappointed. It was set up well in the church, but dark and felt cramped. Audio experiences were broken, cheap and worn out props, and it just felt like everything needed a face lift. Shame because I feel like it has the potential to be really good. Friendly staff however and cheap enough admission prices however I wouldn’t overly recommend. Would also try to avoid on weekends as very busy and hard to see everything.
i love history and medicine so i was fascinated. loads to look at and lits of interactive things to do. i went alone and loved it so dont let no one to go with stop you.
So much fun whilst being informative. Staff member at the front was very in character and gave us a good laugh. Really good for a little day out and I imagine it'd be brilliant for children as well as adults. Took us around 1 to 1.5 hours to go around.
We were in the area and were looking for something fun to do for my 7yr old, when we stumbled across this little gem!
From the minute we walked through the door we were engaged and laughing. The staff are welcoming, fun and definitely help to make it what it is.
We loved how interactive it was and it definitely held my sons interest.
It was informative but so much fun. Thank you so much!
